Swimming is not just and important life skill, it’s a healthy activity that is also a lot of fun! If your child has expressed an interest in swimming, consider Blue Wave. We make it easy to become a member of our team. Simply stop by during any of our regularly scheduled practice times for a quick, free and no obligation try out.
Have your child bring a bathing suit and a towel as they will be getting in the pool. We can provide a pair of goggles, if needed. After watching your child in the water, a friendly staff member will guide you to the right program for his or her needs. Simple, fast and fun. We have a program for every child. Founded in 1963, Blue Wave is one of the oldest and longest running competitive aquatic programs in the state. Blue Wave swimmers have been successful in local, state, regional, national and international competitions, and several have participated across a total of six Olympic Games (Barcelona in 1992, Atlanta in 1996, Sydney in 2000, Athens in 2004, Beijing in 2008, and London in 2012). Currently coached by former Olympian swimmer, Jamie Peterkin.<\/p>\n

Among others, Triple Olympic Gold medalist Brooke Bennett, Olympic Silver medalist Maritza Correia, and two-time El Salvadorian Olympian Golda Marcus are all proud Blue Wave alumni!<\/p><\/div>

High 5, Inc. is the host facility for Blue Wave Diving<\/strong>. We’re proud to have been selected as a national training site for the finest amateur divers and prospective Olympic athletes in the United States.<\/p>\n

Our springboard diving program is focused on offering a range of training levels from beginner to expert. New or experienced divers will find ways to improve their basic techniques, strengthen areas of weakness, and enhance and develop their abilities across all disciplines.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
