The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ is a promotional event designed to build awareness and generate local and national media attention about the vital importance of teaching kids to swim to help prevent drowning and improve quality of life. What’s exciting about the WLSL event is that so many organizations, including High 5 and other aquatic facilities come together to make it happen. Join us from 10AM-12PM for this FREE event, aimed for children ages 3+!

Learning to swim and the exposure to water safety skills that swimming lessons offer provides a lifelong foundation for youth drowning prevention. Drowning is known to be the leading cause of unintentional tragedy for kids under the age of four. That’s all the motivation anyone should need to take an active role in preventing it.

High 5 is always looking for new and innovative ways to further the cause of water safety through summer swim leagues, year-round swim lessons, aquatics-based programming, and events like these. Naturally, it all starts with teaching children how to swim safely in expected conditions and how to save themselves should they find themselves in deep water unexpectedly.
