Regional Director – Summer Camp/After School

The Regional Director is a high-impact leadership role that blends relationship management with a strong focus on client and family satisfaction. This position oversees multiple elementary after-school sites during the school year and summer camp programs during the summer months, ensuring consistently high-quality programming across all locations.
The Regional Director builds and maintains meaningful relationships with families, school administrators, staff, and the surrounding community while serving as a key ambassador for High 5. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities for growth and improvement within the region, proactively problem-solving, and executing High 5’s vision of exceptional, child-centered programming.
Candidates must hold an active Child Care Director’s Credential.
Duties and Responsibilities

Communicate clearly and professionally with school administrators, site staff, families, and community partners across after-school and summer camp programs

Complete and maintain all required trainings and credentials

Ensure all Site Directors and summer camp staff complete and remain current on required trainings and credentials

Provide direct oversight, leadership, and support to all after-school and summer camp staff within the assigned region

Maintain accountability for customer satisfaction, family engagement, and retention across programs

Meet regularly with after-school staff, summer camp staff, school personnel, and school administration to support strong partnerships and program success

Provide consistent reporting on daily operations and key updates for each assigned after-school site and summer camp program

Maintain accurate records and ensure all licensing, staffing, and compliance documentation remain current and organized
Qualifications
- Active Child Care Director’s Credential

Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
-
Demonstrated experience in the child development or youth programming field

Ability to successfully pass all required background checks

Proficiency with computer systems, including Windows-based operating systems and common workplace software
