Congratulations to Candy Corsi and Amy Moore, BSAC Team Leaders of January!
BSAC sincerely congratulates the January Team Leaders of the Month, Candy Corsi and Amy Moore. Both of these women have displayed a great deal of hard work and commitment throughout their careers. The BSAC Team Leaders are chosen based off of nominations from their colleagues.
Candy Corsi was first introduced to BSAC seven years ago while working at Plant City High School. She met a student’s parent who was the Director of TRIDENT at the time, and was then asked to join the BSAC team. Throughout the years, Candi has helped her student’s develop personal skills and progress socially.
“My favorite part about my job is the students,” says Candi Corsi. “I treat them as if they were my kids.”
In December, Candy organized the 7th annual TRIDENT talent show, Broadway or Bust, the largest show yet. She has also worked diligently to sell tickets and secure new sponsorships for our upcoming fundraiser, Casino Royale, on March 29th, 2019.
“My legacy for BSAC is to have the TRIDENT program grow and be the very best program for the special needs community,” says Candi Corsi.
Amy Moore was first introduced to this organization when Accounting by Moore took BSAC on as a client in 2010. Three years ago, she stepped into her current role of Chief Operations Officer (COO). She helps oversee all programs to make sure everything is running smoothly. Amy is also key in connecting vendors to internal departments.
“I love the amount of things we do in the community to help people,” said Amy Moore. “I want to make an impact on the families here.”
Amy loves the flexibility and freedom given to BSAC directors which enables them to really grow their own programs. This allows everyone to come together as a team, providing fresh ideas and concepts for the organization.
“I know what it took to get BSAC to where it is right now,” said Amy Moore. “We have turned the tables and we are now entering growth mode. It’s exciting to be a part of.”
In her free time, Amy likes to exercise and spend time with her family. She has five children, two of which currently work at BSAC and had previously been part of the after-school program.
On behalf of everyone at BSAC, we would like to thank Candy and Amy for their time, effort, and dedication to this organization and our families. Congratulations on this important achievement.
