BSAC’s 11th Annual Casino Night Raises Over $63,000 for Scholarships
Over 450 local business leaders and community members attended BSAC’s Annual Casino Night on Friday, March 29th, and boy, what a night it was! BSAC was able to raise over $63,000 in scholarship support for families in need of financial assistance. These children will now be able to participate in programs including swim lessons, summer camp, after-school, TRIDENT (special needs programming) and many of our other great programs.
The night was highlighted by amazing food, cool casino games, a great silent auction, lots of dancing and a ton of fun. Making the night a huge success were several giving businesses that BSAC would like to thank.
Our food stations were ALL donated by some of the top caterers and restaurants in Tampa Bay. Thank you again to Fresh Original Food, Livy O’s, Cater Tampa, Coastal Catering, 3 C’s, Tibby’s New Orleans Kitchen, Pasta Monsta, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, 1916 Irish Pub, Bubba Que’s, Papa John’s Pizza, Leanne’s Cookies, Art Monkey, Mini Donut Factory, Petit Madeline’s, and Nothing Bundt Cakes. These wonderful and giving businesses continually support BSAC, its mission and its many programs. We ask that you make sure to support them as well for your catering and dining needs.
BSAC also appreciates all our sponsors for the event as we could not have had the enormous impact we did without their support. It is crucial for non-profit organizations to have the support of the community is serves, and we are so grateful for the many, many businesses that were part of this year’s Casino Night.
A big shout out to Melissa Myers and Craig Beckinger for leading the charge on this event for our board of directors. Through their leadership, this event raised significantly more resources for families in need than ever. Thanks Melissa and Craig! And, finally, thanks to all that came out to the event. Just know that just because the event is over, your impact to so many families is just beginning. Thanks, and we’ll see everyone next year where we will try to do even more!
