Under the direct supervision of the High 5 Site Director, the After-School Mentor is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean site, ensuring a high level of quality programming and working to establish and build strong, meaningful relationships with all program participants, their families and High 5 staff. The After-School Mentor will exhibit positive role model qualities in all aspects of their interactions and will continually maintain and be an example of High 5’s mission and core values under the philosophy of High 5’s standards and expectations.
The Swim Instructor is responsible for teaching young children through adults how to swim. This role will have knowledge and be able to swim all four of the swimming strokes (Freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly and backstroke). They should be able to use different techniques and approaches to teach the participants how to swim. The Swim Instructor will be responsible for maintaining records for each swim participant, filling out skill sheets and creating certificates for each participant. They should have a plan to keep the children active in the classes making learning fun. This person should have a high level of time management skills, be well organized and can plan without a lot of supervision. This person should be motivated and can think on their feet. Should be able to make decision and answer questions from parents with confidence. This person should be able to execute the vision and mission of the organization.

A Member Services position works at the front desk in the lobby and is the first contract for families entering the facility. Member Services is the center of High 5 and they support all programs. This role requires a high energy, great customer service, problem solving and multi-tasking. This role is either part-time or full-time depending on availability.
High 5, Inc., a 501c3, non-profit, community organization, is looking for a high energy, enthusiastic, family entertainment-focused individual to help our Mission 5 Laser Tag program. This position will be responsible for assisting with running all aspects of laser tag, including, but not limited to member and guest experience, setting up and operating laser tag parties, refereeing mission sessions, set up and breakdown of course, and other duties as needed. This position is for weekends only.
The Lifeguard will help support and maintain safety throughout the aquatics area. Lifeguards will assist in the maintenance of the filtration systems to keep all the water in the pools at High 5 chemically balanced. A lifeguard should know and be able to execute the Emergency Action Plan (EAP), build relationships with customers and continually maintain and be an example of High 5’s mission and core values under the philosophy of High 5’s standards and expectations. The Lifeguard staff will assist with light maintenance of the aquatic area including the concession area from the building door to the grass area behind the dive dry land area.
