Hillsborough County Special Olympics Swimming Competition Held at BSAC
If you weren’t able to catch the Hillsborough County Special Olympics District Swimming Competition held at BSAC on Saturday, July 19, 2014, you reallly missed out! Once again, over 60 athletes came out and impressed us with their courage, positivity, perserverance and drive! Glenn Fite, executive director of the Hillsborough County Special Olympics, served as the master of ceremonies to a crowd of adoring fans. Several of the athletes were from our own Team TRIDENT program right here at BSAC. Team TRIDENT is our day program for intellectually disabled youth and adults.
