7th Annual TRIDENT Talent Show – Broadway or Bust!
Team TRIDENT put on a fantastic performance in our 7th Annual Talent Show, Broadway or Bust! Students practiced for months leading up to the show, which was held on December 14th, 2018 in the BSAC gymnasium.
Every year, students in TRIDENT have the opportunity to shine on stage, expressing their unique personalities and gifts. Parents especially love seeing the joy on their child’s face as they finish their talent and step off the stage. The TRIDENT fan base grows larger every year, and students fed off the energy from our biggest audience yet, which cheered and clapped along the entire show.
“My students are already excited about the next show,” said Candy Corsi, Director of Special Needs. “We start talking about it in January and choose a theme so they can begin practicing at home. We have some really great ideas already.”
After the show, Santa continued a talent show tradition by handing out presents to Team TRIDENT and VPK. Everyone enjoyed watching Santa interact with the students while he took photos and asked what they wanted for Christmas.
“Seeing all the TRIDENT students come together was really special,” said Carli Walko, BSAC Marketing Director. “You don’t realize how much the program has grown since many of our students attend on different days.”
Fresh Original Food catered a delicious lunch including wraps, macaroni salad, potato salad and cookies for all in attendance to enjoy after the show. In case you missed it, you can always pick up a meal from Fresh Original Food after work at the BSAC Café, located outside by the pool deck.
BSAC would like to thank parents, family and friends for the exceptional attendance and continuous support for TRIDENT. We would also like to thank the BSAC Board of Directors for coming out to interact with the families and witness the great work happening in this program. All of this would not be possible without Candy Corsi, Dawn Brandt, and Denise Scott, the talented instructors who work with students in TRIDENT every day.
