Odyssey of the Mind Longshot Solution at Lithia Springs
The Odyssey of the Mind club provides educational activities allowing each student to grow their creative problem-solving abilities. Today, the students were tasked with stopping a fabricated disastrous event that was said to be threatening the world. To stop the event the students had to create a plan that allowed different materials to be sent from each corner of the world to one final destination. By working together, the students were able to creatively plan a solution to solve the problem at hand. At the end of the activity, the students were excited to celebrate their success and all of the cool ideas and solutions that each of their friends thought of. Not only was this activity fun today, but it also allowed the students to grow their problem-solving skills that will last a lifetime.
